Great Succes at the WPATH!

This September, we officially presented The GenderAid for the first time on an international platform. We are greatful for the opportunity provided to us by the 27th Scientific Symposium of the World Professional Association for Transgender Health (WPATH) in Montreal, Canada.

Here, Sterre Mokken had received the opportunity to share multiple aspects of her PhD-research regarding "Shared Decision-Making in Genital Gender Affirming Surgery", especially the development of "The GenderAid".

During these presentations many people from diverse backgrounds were present. This allowed us to inform a wide audience about GenderAid. We can proudly say that the GenderAid was enthusiastically received by our international colleagues!

Many international parties have shown their interest in the GenderAid. In the coming period we will explore with them how we can apply the GenderAid in their healthcare system, in addition to our current adaptation process.

We feel inspired, as well as excited to have made new acquaintances for strengthening our international collaboration!

In short, our presence at the WPATH symposium was a great success!
